Memories of Taiwan is a graphic novel anthology collecting the complete Visions of Taiwan comics series, featuring thirty-seven stories by nineteen international artists. Edited by Ray Hecht, the book presents Taiwan through a wide range of outsider perspectives: funny, personal, awkward, observant, anxious, celebratory, and reflective. With stories about festivals, art, travel, food, friendship, cultural confusion, and everyday life, this collection offers a many-voiced portrait of Taiwan as remembered by the artists who lived there, visited there, and were changed by the experience.
