Writer of writings
Bio: Long story short, raised in America from the Midwest to the West Coast on a starchy diet of movies and comics and science fiction paperbacks. There’s a Mid-East connection in there too. I like to write fiction about such states as California and Ohio, and such provinces as Guangdong. Japan/rest-of-Asia being interesting topics as well. Lived in Shenzhen, China since 2008 (has it really been that long?), that lovely Special Economic Zone Hong Kong-bordering chaotic city which has given me so much, but I have now moved to Taiwan. I occasionally partake of some freelance journalism and book-writing for various local publications. Most recently, author of South China Morning Blues (Blacksmith Books, 2015) and Always Goodbye (TWG Press, 2020).

I lived in China for 5 years and had a blast. Sadly, I did not date Julia or Mona….. My wife had strong objections to this ๐
